Creates and disseminates written posts on how to best support faculty in democratic engagement work in the classroom and through scholarly activities. Supports grant projects by our members and create opportunities for webinars on democratically engaged curriculum and scholarship as topics arise
Focused on media and information literacy related to state and local elections, promoting voter turnout in state and local elections, and identifying teaching resources related to state and local elections. Teaching resources are focused on civically engaged and service-learning resources. This committee also gathers state and local elections resources for various states.
